The heart behind Trumpeting Color has never really been about color. It's about women.

The name Trumpeting Color was inspired by one of my favorite pictures of sisterhood. In the wild, when a female elephant is struggling, the other females gather around her, forming a protective circle until she is strong again. Then they lift their trunks and trumpet in celebration of her renewal.

That is the kind of community I wanted Trumpeting Color to become.

After leaving the corporate world more than two decades ago, I built a business helping women discover confidence through skincare, makeup, and leadership. Years later, I had my own colors analyzed. I wasn't looking for a new career. I was simply curious why some colors made me feel more like myself than others.

That appointment changed everything.

I discovered that color analysis wasn't really about finding the "right" colors. It was about helping women see themselves differently. Today, through color analysis, personal style, and consultant education, I get to help women discover the confidence that comes from understanding who they are.

Teaching has always been at the heart of what I do. Whether I'm working with a client or training consultants, my greatest joy is watching women grow in confidence and begin to see themselves in a whole new way.
